These Terms of Use govern your use of the FoodNearby app, operated by FBC I/S. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. About FoodNearby
FoodNearby is a food discovery app that helps you find restaurants, cafes, and food experiences near you. The app provides recommendations based on your location and preferences.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use FoodNearby. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Use of the App
You agree to use FoodNearby only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or its systems
- Use the app to transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content
- Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the app
4. Account
You may optionally create an account to save trip plans and favorites. You are responsible for keeping your login information secure. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
5. Recommendations and Accuracy
FoodNearby provides restaurant recommendations based on data from third-party sources including Google Places. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any information shown in the app. Opening hours, ratings, and other details may change without notice. Always verify important information directly with the venue.
6. Trip Plans
Trip plans generated by FoodNearby are suggestions only. We do not guarantee that recommended places will be available, open, or suitable for your needs during your visit.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in the FoodNearby app is owned by FBC I/S or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.
8. Third-Party Services
FoodNearby uses third-party services including Google Places API, OpenAI, and Supabase. Your use of these services through our app is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FBC I/S shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of FoodNearby, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury resulting from reliance on app recommendations.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
FoodNearby is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of FoodNearby at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
